The game is a prequel to Super. Baby Mario has been kidnapped and must be rescued and reunited with his brother Luigi, in Nintendo's Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Different-colored Yoshis swallow enemies to make eggs, and they use these eggs to attack other enemies and activate switches. Super Mario 2: Yoshi’s Island is a popular game released in Japan. The game is a platform video game developed for Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) by Nintendo. This game, though it is called Super Mario 2, it’s actually a prequel to the rest of the games within the Mario Bros timeline. The main character of the game is Mario. Yoshi's Island 2 is the second level on Yoshi's Island in Super Mario World. Finishing the level is compulsory for beating the game, since Yoshi's Island 1 could be avoided. The level introduces many reoccurring elements, such as Yoshi, Monty Moles, Koopa Troopas, Berries, and Beanstalks. The level has a forest theme.
Game Description
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island is a platforming video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System produced and released by Nintendo. It is a reference to the first appearance of Yoshi on Super Mario World. The player takes care of various Yoshis, rather than playing as Mario, while Mario appears as a helpless infant.
World 2 is the second world of the game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. It consists of 10 levels, and like every other world, it has six regular levels, a Fort, a Castle, an extra level, the Scratch and Match Bonus Game, and a secret level. Most of the levels in the world are set on forested mountains or in dusky uplands. Oct 14, 2009 Also, in Bowsers castle you have 4 doors, i added all 4 levels one after another, so it shows them in order 1-2-3-4 before i enter the the final corridor leading to Bowser!
The game is well known for its unique style of art, which clashed heavily with the pre-rendered style of contemporary games that Donkey Kong Country popularized. In August 1995, after four years of development, Yoshi’s Island was released in Japan, and two months later worldwide.

When you cross this bridge, there will be a lava boogy man that will jump outta the lava to bust up yoshi, so avoid him by jumping. Be sure to pick up all the RED COINS on this bridge as well. When you're on the teeter-totter, he'll also be there. Grab the RED COINS and the FLOWER PETAL. Jump onto the island. The coins make a zigzag //// pattern, with the red coins at the top point of each carrot. To shoot them, simply hold up until the screen starts scrolling, and then jump and flutter while firing. It is crucial to listen for the sound of four red coins being collected to know that you got them all. Yoshi's island 1-3 red coins list. In Yoshi's New Island players will find the standard coin scattered through-out the worlds. When a player collects over 99 coins they will be given an extra life. When collecting coins players will notice a Red Coin that pop ups and is collected automatically.

World 6 (also known as the Koopa Kingdom) is the sixth and final world of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its re-release Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, resembling the landscape and environment of Yoshi's Island. The world contains eight normal levels. Its mini-boss is Tap-Tap the Red Nose; the main and final boss is Baby Bowser. This world includes many dangerous obstacles, including lava and spikes, the world's theme is a barren landscape in sunset/starry night sky.
